Clemency completed her Dietetics degree in 1987. Since then, she has worked in the hospital, public health and private practice settings as well as teaching nutrition at Curtain University of Technology.
She now works mostly with adults and families seeking to improve their health working with clients to overcome barriers to change within their lives. This practical focus allows better management of general health/energy levels and of conditions such as Elevated Blood Cholesterol and Blood Pressure, Diabetes and Impaired Glucose Tolerance and increases nutritional status and overall health measures.
A special interest in gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and diet is useful in helping improve GI symptoms in sufferers of irritable Bowel Syndrome, Coeliac Disease, Crohn’s Disease and Diverticular Disease for example. Individuals usually benefit significantly from these management techniques.
