Minor Surgery

 

At CCMC we have facilities to perform minor surgery including excision of skin lesions such as sebaceous cysts, seborrhoeic keratoses, moles and cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Surgery is performed with local anaesthetic to numb the area.

We can also perform cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) treatment on warts and solar keratoses (sun spots)

For surgery generally a special long appointment is required and, in most cases, a further appointment approximately a week later (included in the cost of the surgery) for removal of the sutures.
